Volunteer FAQ

FAQ's for people who wish to volunteer as a coach in Pennsylvania.

Documents & Clearances Required for Coaches

If you are a coach for the Donegal Braves, you will need to sign the "Coaches Code".  It is also a requirement by the Red Rose Football League that each coach complete a concussion training.  This is done online at home.  Once you are done with the training, you can print your certificate or email it to donegalbraves@gmail.com

You will also be required to complete 3 clearances per ACT 34 in Pennsylvania.

The 3 Clearances that a volunteer MUST obtain are Pennsylvania State Police Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance, & FBI Fingerprint Clearance. If you have lived in PA for 10 consecutive years you maybe exempt from the FBI Fingerprint Clearance. You will however, be required to affirm in writing that you are not disqualified from service based upon a conviction or an offense.
